This summer from the 22nd to the 26th of september the Bruins will move their training camp from Boston up to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Claude Julien hopes that it will be a nice change of pace for the team and a nchance to get away from the city for a little bit so they can buckle down and concentrate on improving from last years 1st round exit from the playoffs. They will start camp for a few days in Boston the head up to Halifax with about 40 - 50 players to try and keep last years momentum going.
The city of Halifax is also just as excited as the team is. After having the Red Sox world series trophy last year they are ready to welcome the Bruins as they prepare for the upcoming season.
While up there in Halifax they will also have a few preseason games against some pretty tough teams including a game against Montreal, the team that knocked out of last years playoffs, the Islanders, and 2 games against the Stanley Cup champion Red Wings. These will be a good way to see where the team is what areas they to work on so they can have the best possible season.
