Offseason Roster Moves

The free agency period came and went a couple weeks ago and i'm not gonna lie, i think the Bruins should have been more aggressive. There were some quality free agents out there and Peter Chiarelli didn't make any moves. Don't get me wrong. I like Peter Chiarelli. He is certainly a huge, huge upgrade over Mike O'Connell. I like the moves to pick up Michael Ryder and re-signing Dennis Wideman to a multi-year deal but I'm still kinda on the fence as far as buying out Glen Murray's contract. I mean yeah hes getting old and his production has dropped in recent years due to injuries but he has been a great leader of this team for a long time and he will be missed. And i know that the move was necessary to put the Bruins under the salary cap. But oh well life goes on and we can start to look forward to the upcoming season.
